Alyssa Boehringer is the Director of Workforce and Technology Entrepreneurship Programs. In this role, she connects a diverse group of local college students to Pittsburgh’s high growth sectors through paid internships. As well, she leads the Pittsburgh Central Keystone Innovation Zone Program, which uses incentives to attract and grow successful high growth innovative start up companies to underserved communities to spur much needed economic growth.
Prior to her current role, Alyssa gained experience with the government and public service having interned for U.S. Congressman Altmire (Beaver County, PA) and U.S. Senator Lautenberg (Newark, NJ). In each role, she played an important part in providing transparency about programs to the local constituents.
In 2012, she earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Point Park University. In 2010, she graduated from Clarion University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
Alyssa is a native to the Pittsburgh region. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her son Jack and volunteering at local organizations. She is also an avid fan of all Pittsburgh sports teams!
